Bio:

I grew up in Germany and Brazil and started to play the piano when I was seven years old. My most influential teachers were Alfred Karner in Germany, Mia Wuesthof in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Rebecca Bogart in the Bay Area.

Furthermore, I had the wonderful opportunities to work with Manfred Rohlffs and Klaus Wuesthof and their orchestras as a soloist in piano concertos in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and with John Bloomfield and Robert Durso, faculty at the Golandski Institut as a student of the Taubmann Approach.

Aside from focusing on the piano I have extensively studied Orff-Schulwerk in the US, in Germany and at the Orff-Institute in Salzburg, Austria and attained the degree of Level II Orff-Teacher.

In addition to teaching piano I hold Master degrees in German Literature and Clinical Psychology and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. To find out more about my private psychotherapy practice in Berkeley where I see individual adults and couples please click here.
